My angel, Matthew Rogers, Jr., AKA “Boo Man”, also known as “Young Official”. He was my first born son. He was born February the 4th, 1992, and was taken from his family November 20th, 2016. He was very family oriented. He was loved by many. As a young child he showed a lot of interest in music. He taught himself how to write, record, produce his own music and videos, going as far as turning his bedroom closet into his first recording booth.

When tomorrow starts without me,
And I’m not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
All filled with tears for me.

I wish you wouldn’t cry
The way you did today
While thinking of the many things
We did not get to say.
I promise no tomorrow,
I promise no tomorrow,
I promise no tomorrow,
For today will always last.

I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
Each time that you think of me,
I know you’ll miss me too.

I wish you wouldn’t cry
The way you did today
While thinking of the many things
We did not get to say.
I promise no tomorrow,
I promise no tomorrow,
I promise no tomorrow,
For today will always last.

Look at all the things you accomplished. We’re going to keep your name alive, that’s a promise. We’re all missing you. We never got to say goodbye. One more time can I hear you say “official”? One more time can I tell you that we miss you. Ever time I feel like giving up, I tell myself I have to do this for you.

So when tomorrow starts without me,
Do not think we are apart,
For every time you think of me,
Remember I’m right in your heart.

I wish you wouldn’t cry
The way you did today
While thinking of the many things
We did not get to say.
promise no tomorrow,
I promise no tomorrow,
I promise no tomorrow,
For today will always last,
For today will always last,
For today will always last.

Son, you don’t have to worry about your future. Your life is divinely orchestrated. God has determined the end from the beginning. He already laid out a plan, drawing up the blueprint – he knows everything that is going to happen. The scripture Roman 8:28 says God works all things according to his will. It’s not according to who likes you, how much talent you have, what family you come from, or even how many mistakes you make. It’s all according to God’s will, and because of that, someone we love is in heaven, and there will always be a piece of heaven in our hearts.
