Don’t strive for perfection, strive for progress. A time to weep, and a time to laugh.
A time to mourn, and a time to dance.

T Dogg bought clothes, he bought shoes and hats,
And cooked for everyone.
Got out his camera, took photographs,
And sold them all on.
He ate candy from his pocket in church every week,
He organised great parties, each one was unique,
He was the glue in our family, his presence is strong.

We are all we got, and we do things together.
He’d say, ‘make sure you get my song right’, your light will shine forever.

T Dogg loved life, he was passionate,
Had a beautiful smile.
Took care of his friends and all those he loved,
His heart was so kind.
He thought he could dance, and he thought he could sing,
He couldn’t but he’d always have a go at anything,
He was the glue in our family, his presence is strong.

We are all we got, and we do things together.
He’d say, ‘make sure you get my song right’, your light will shine forever.

Lyle: my uncle was like a mentor. He kept me on the right track and was very protective of the things I did. He was cool and I loved him.

Taletha: my son was a Mama’s boy. He did everything for me, and that’s what I miss.

Kiera: my uncle was caring, family focussed, genuine and loyal.

La Tonya: Bubba, you thought you were looking up to me, but in reality, I was really looking up to you. Admiring how you lived your life out loud and boldly! You will never be forgotten and will always remain in our hearts. We love forever!

We are all we got, and we do things together.
He’d say, ‘make sure you get my song right’, your light will shine forever.
We are all we got, and we do things together.
He’d say, ‘make sure you get my song right’, your light will shine forever.
